Victoria looks soo cute and sexy in her skinny jeans and tank tops from Forever 21 and Aldo wedges. Her studding bag is from the edgy brand called Street Level available at Baghaus.com This is a VERY cute all day look that can be used not only in the summer but all year around!

Want It Wednesday: Marion Cotillard’s Look from July Vogue

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

My Want It Wednesday this week is the entire look and feel of this photograph of Marion Cotillard. From Vogue July 2010, French siren and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard was featured on the cover.

One of the additional Vogue photos caught my eye the most, showing Marion wearing a Nina Ricci fuchsia silk-and-slate flannel ruched dress and rosette-bouquet silk-chiffon cummerbund. With this stunning dress, her accessories stood out. The Nina Ricci dress was paired with and Vera Wang sunglasses and Christian Louboutin ruffled satin pumps. Not only do I absolutely adore her look, but I love the setting. See the entire feature at Vogue.com.

The Proenza Schouler Paper Bag Tote is now available at Net-a-Porter!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

When we wrote about Proenza Schouler’s Pre-Fall 2010 accessories collection a month ago, a lot of people were excited about the brand’s upcoming paper bag tote. (A lot of people also hated it, but hey, that happens.) It was only a matter of time before it hit stores, and as of today, it finally has.

The tote, which is made out of treated leather instead of actual paper, is now available via Net-a-Porter for $615. I’m sure that some people will complain about the price for what is a fairly simple bag, but for the size and material, it seems pretty fair to me.

If you’ve been anticipating this tote’s arrival, check it out via Net-a-Porter.

Take a look past the traditional Balenciaga bag

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Even for a dedicated lover of Balenciaga handbags like me, it can sometimes be hard to remember that the brand makes purses other than their famed motorcycle bags. When the brand is mentioned to me, I always conjure up an image of a City or Day bag with giant silver hardware, but there’s much more to Balenciaga’s accessories that just that. If you haven’t seen (and felt) the Balenciaga Chaine Bag in person, you’re missing out.

BlueFly claims that this bag is made of calfskin and I have no real reason not to believe them, save for the fact that it might be the softest leather that I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I’m not one to exaggerate needlessly, so believe me when I say that you’ve got to feel it to understand just how divine this leather really is.

If Balenciaga suddenly decided to start making their brightly colored motorcycle bags out of this leather, I’d be able to die a happy woman. I did a double take when I felt it for the first time and was so impressed that I seriously considered plunking down the two grand for it right then and there. I restrained myself (just barely), but it was a good reminder that Balenciaga does a lot more than we sometimes give them credit for when it comes to handbags. Buy through BlueFly for $1996.
