In my opinion, the best roses come from the House of Valentino. I’ve always been a fan of the feminine and floral based goods and accessories, and apparently, I’m not alone, as once again, new batches of cheerful tote bags have arrived this season. They come striking as usual, carrying unusual silhouettes and bold colors.

The Rose Leather Tote has got to be one of the most unusual pieces found in the collection. Overlapping layers of ruffles create this spiral design of a blossoming rose. Besides the floral detail on this bag, I really like how rich and thick the nappa lambskin leather arrives on this piece. More details include dark silk lining and a snap closure for quick and easy access to your beloved essentials. This totes design isn’t too common among your average handbags, and I wouldn’t necessarily call this an everyday bag. Yet it’s fun and unique, so why not add a one of a kind piece to your collection. Double rolled handles allow this bag to be carried on the crook of the arm or simply handheld. Here’s an item that would rank on the top of my list of handbags I would never be caught wearing. Meet the Patent Leather Basket Tote by Miu Miu. I am a fan of the Italian based brand Miu Miu, from their feminine leather handbags to their bold and funky shoes, I love them all. So I was in complete utter shock when I ran into this tote of theirs. Who’s the brains behind this bag and why didn’t they complete it? The handbags details are as shocking as it gets, glossy black patent leather forms the weave silhouette of this basket-like tote bag; with all those openings found throughout this bag, you can kiss some of your smallest essentials goodbye. Miu Miu prepared this tote with a removable drawstring satin pouch to keep your stuff private, and it’s pretty disappointing how much it looks like a dust bag rather than a removable pouch.

Marc Jacobs never disappoints when it comes to designing handbags. Whether it’s for his Marc Jacobs or Marc by Marc Jacobs line, he always has stunning handbags for each collection. My newly favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag is the Softy Tobo Bag. The Softy Tobo Bag comes in three different colors: Bianco (white); Black; and Deep Fuchsia. Each color on the bag looks gorgeous. Usually when a handbag comes in a variety of colors, only one or two colors look decent on the bag. The Marc by Marc Jacobs Softy Tobo Bag looks so good in all the colors it comes in, that it may be kind of hard just to choose one to buy!

Some details of the handbag include: a magnetic snap closure; exterior elastic slip pockets; interior pockets; and striped lining. My favorite detail of the bag have to be the exterior slip pockets. I love when their are pockets located on the exterior of the bag because if I’m in a rush I can easily put my keys, lip gloss, or even cash in one of the pockets without shuffling through my purse.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Softy Tobo Bag can be purchased at Nordstrom for $498. The bag is adorable but I do believe that the price tag for this purse is a little much. I would rather put that big chunk of change towards a Louis Vuitton Speedy but of course that is just my opinion. High price tag or not, this handbag is adorable!
